Some of the fellows are doing final finishing on their pieces before delivery to the gallery tomorrow. I caught Rex, Julia and Zina at the shop where their hands were busy and their bodies weary. Lots of great work is coming forth from their efforts. What wonders will occur in the upcoming hours? Perhaps I will see Adrien and Grant when I head back to the wood shop tonight.
Rex takes a peach brake after little to eat all day.
Sanding calisthenics. No wonder he’s tired.
Tired tired tired. And yet more to do.
Zina polishing her collaborative piece with Rex.
Zina hand sands her Furry Vessel. Lots of new carving since I was here last Wednesday.
Mother and child are together.
Rex and Zina’s “Fish and Chips”.
Julia doing some teeth and mouth cleaning on her carved door.
Julia’s small carved hands. Hmm? Details for another piece?
