It’s one of our most cherished times of the year at the Museum for Art in Wood, when we welcome a new cohort of fellows to the Windgate Arts Residency Program in Wood (WARP Wood)!

Philadelphia is gearing up for an exciting summer, but here at the Museum for Art in Wood, we have our own cause for celebration: another year of WARP Wood is about to begin!

The Windgate Artist Residency Program in Wood embodies the core of the Museum’s work. WARP means investing in artists, celebrating the creative process, and helping to foster an ever-growing community surrounding art in wood. For the Fellows, WARP can be the first stop at the beginning of a career, or a revitalizing point along the journey.

WARP builds meaningful relationships not only within each cohort, but also across a broader creative network by nurturing an organic community of artists, enthusiasts, and the public. Many WARP Wood Fellows continue their involvement with the Museum after the fellowship, often returning as regular exhibitors, educators, and active members of the international community.

We must raise $30,000 from individual donors to support this summer’s cohort of Fellows. Will you join us again this year with a gift to WARP Wood? Your donation sustains a residency like no other—and brings you inside the process with early access to events, special tours, and more, as a member of the Museum for Art in Wood.
