It’s one of our most cherished times of the year at the Museum for Art in Wood, when we welcome a new cohort of fellows to the Windgate Arts Residency Program in Wood (WARP Wood)!

Just like our mission, WARP Wood fosters creativity, innovation, and scholarship in art in wood.

This year we welcome a group of artists that we had invited to join us in 2020, but due to the pandemic, plans were delayed. Since that time, these artists have continued to hone their craft, explore new ideas, and create inventive and thought-filled works of art in wood. We cannot wait to see what they have in store for us this summer! What stands out to me when looking at this group of fellows is the wide range of experience they bring to WARP Wood. While some are established artists, others are just starting their professional journey. Similarly, the group embodies a wide and varied range of approaches to art in wood, including sculpture, furniture, carving, and multimedia.

To support this year’s Fellows, we must raise $30,000 from individuals like you. By donating today, you also become a member of the Museum, giving you early access to events, regular updates on programming, invitations to exclusive tours and openings, and a discount at the Museum store!
