PHILADELPHIA, PA – The William Penn Foundation and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation have partnered to support Philadelphia arts and culture organizations with a one-time, relief funds grant during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The partnership between these two foundations brings a total of $8 million in funding directed toward the arts and culture sector of Philadelphia. The Center for Art in Wood is grateful to announce that
It is one of the grant recipients, among many others in the city. This unanticipated relief grant, in the amount of $150,000, will substantially help the Center navigate the uncertainty of the time, with funds being used to support ongoing programs, exhibitions, and outreach.
We thank the William Penn Foundation and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundations for their ongoing commitment to the arts and culture organizations of Philadelphia through this unique and timely partnership.
