2014 Annual Founders’ Fundraiser: Ron Fleming

Honoring Ron Fleming, Founding Trustee and Sculptor

This year, we are proud to announce that we will be honoring Ron Fleming, Founding Trustee and Sculptor. Since 1986, Ron has been an active participant in the history and growth of the Center. As a Founding Trustee, he helped to sculpt the Center’s original mission, and designed and executed the original logo and branding for the Center, then known as the Wood Turning Center. Early on, Ron’s mastery of graphic design soon was reflected in his wood turned and carved vessels. Living in a home botanical garden, developed by his wife Patti, Ron soon started painting on his original wood sculptures. Now his works have been translated into sculptural, glass, and bronze of exquisite quality. On the evening of November 8th, the Center will honor Ron and his many contributions to the Center, and his incredible body of art work in a pop-up exhibition and sale of pieces from his private collection.
