Notes: In 2010 I was thrilled to be included in the show “Magic Realism: Material Illusions”. The piece I chose, “Van Gogh”, was an homage to my favorite artist. The work, like all my work, is hand carved from a single block of wood and hand painted with ink and acrylic. I was particularly happy to be included in this show because my work would be seen alongside other artists I particularly admire……John Cederquist, Paul Stankard, and especially Tom Eckert.
