Notes: A bowl was one of the first things that I wanted to make once my work expanded from carpentry, furniture, and doors. Not having a lathe, I devised a way to use the tools I had to carve one. It was very exciting to be included in the 2007 “Coming of Age” exhibit at the Wood Turning Center. Trio, three conjoined bowls carved from a single piece of wood, was a new exploration of the bowl form for me and was part of this exhibit.
