Join us for the first Annual Evergreen Society Reception on First Friday Oct. 6th from 6 – 8pm. Enjoy food and refreshments served in the Fleur & Charles Bresler Research Library and a private tour of the Center’s Museum Collection conducted by Co-Founder and Executive Director, Albert LeCoff.
What is the Evergreen Society? You may already be an Evergreen Society member. The Evergreen Society is the Center’s legacy group and consists of donors who have included The Center for Art in Wood in their estate plans/planned giving. There is no minimum amount and no required method. If the Center has been named as a beneficiary in your plan, you are a member. With permission, a list of Evergreen Society members will be listed on our website and as part of our donor lists.
Each year, starting with this event, we will recognize your support with a special reception and preview upcoming plans for exhibitions and other programming.
Planned Giving: What are the benefits?
– Depending on the planned gift, you can receive income and capital gains tax relief
– Enables you to make a substantial gift to an organization you care deeply about without affecting your annual income
– You may direct the funds towards the program/part of the Center’s mission you find most compelling or designate it as general operating support.
Registration Required: Please RSVP by September 25th by emailing Fred Kaplan-Mayer, Director of Operations at [email protected] or by calling 215-923-800.
