Let’s toast First Friday! Join the Center’s Artistic Director, Jennifer-Navva Milliken, to learn about the history and use of wooden bar tools as well as the secrets behind some of her signature drinks. This First Friday, Navva will talk about the wooden cocktail muddler and demonstrate its use in a guided lesson making the spring-filled Darling, You Are Getting Better Looking Every Day, a cocktail inspired by a work in the Center’s collection by Jean-François Escoulen [ref. OBJ 572].
To watch, visit the Center’s Facebook Page.
This event is free to the public. The Center for Art in Wood interprets, nurtures, and champions creative engagement and expansion of art, craft, and design in wood to enhance the public’s understanding and appreciation of it. A suggested donation of $5 per person enables us to provide programs and exhibitions throughout the year.
