The Bob Stocksdale International Excellence in Wood Award Exhibition 2016

On November 12, the same day as our Annual Founders’ Fundraiser, the inaugural honoree reciepient of The Bob Stocksdale International Excellence in Wood Award for 2016, Jakob Weissflog, Germany, will be at the Center to open his exhibition. Jakob’s work will be on display and available for sale November 12, 2016 – April 8, 2017.

Supported by an anonymous donor, this award of $1,000 and a documented exhibition will be presented annually to an emerging or mid-career artist whose work, like Stocksdale’s, unites quality of craftsmanship and respect for materials.
SNEAK PREVIEW: Event VIPs will be able to attend a special, cocktail reception at the Center on November 12, before the fundraiser, from 5-6PM, to meet Jakob and to view the work for sale before it is opened to the general public.
