Notes: Artists are addicts. We move towards our weakest point. Much like the stage shy actor. The Center has always provided a safe house. It offers an atmosphere conducive to experimentation and personal discovery quite outside of the normal business of being an artist. I have always felt that no matter how complex OR flat footed my offering was, it would be welcomed and considered carefully. Thanks to a chance encounter with Albert, “Untitled So Far” was my initiation by fire. I have to admit that it was through his eyes first that this found object revealed itself. For that and many other object conversations over the years, I am grateful.
