Notes: “After Midnight” is a recent piece showing that I am still interested in a more formal look. Although it is not entirely reflective of my present work, I chose it because it maintains a connection to the work completed in 2006. Made for a themed exhibition, Creativity in Construction - A Collaboration of Materials (2015, Pittsburgh), “After Midnight” represents an entirely new method of construction for me, one that has led to its own exploration. With its metal and leather accents, it is meant to suggest the darker side of midnight.
