DESCRIPTION:Neighborhood Fun Day | Sat\, May 16\, 2026 | 11 am – 3 pm | Jefferson Garden\, located at 105 South 5th Street\nWalk-ups Welcome \nJoin the Museum for Art in Wood on Saturday\, October 11th\, for the American Philosophical Society’s (APS) Family Fun Day! This free program will take place from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm in the Jefferson Garden\, located at 105 South 5th Street. \nInspired by the APS 2026 exhibition\, These Truths: The Declarations of Independence\, take part in a variety of activities as we welcome the spring weather and celebrate the opening months of this exhibition. \nThere will be hands-on activities\, games\, and snacks* for the whole family. Visitors are welcome to stop for any amount of time throughout the program. \nThis free event is appropriate for guests of all ages. The exhibition\, These Truths: The Declarations of Independence\, located across the street in Philosophical Hall\, will be open throughout the program. \nIf you have any questions or concerns regarding accessing this event\, please contact the education office at MuseumEducation@AmPhilSoc.org. We appreciate two weeks of advance notice for any accessibility requests. \nPlease note that photographs or video may be taken by museum staff throughout the event for educational and/or promotional materials.
